Per L&M Companion:
2nd. Bt., (d. 1697) A member of the Northumberland family; in 1672 described as of Chelsea. He took no part in politics and lived abroad for extended periods in the '60's with his wife and daughter.

Sir Thomas Liddell, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Liddell and Bridget Woodward. He married Anne Vane, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Vane the Elder and Frances D'Arcy. He died in 1697. Sir Thomas Liddell, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Liddell [E., 1642].
