Capt. John Perriman is the local Thames River Agent, whatever that means. In June 1668 he sends Pepys the following letter from Redriffe about his sprained ankle. I will assume from June 1668 onwards that he writes from his home office, unless there is information to the contrary (which will be indicated):
June 4. 1668 Redriffe. Capt. John Perriman to Sam. Pepys.
Particulars of his illness and of an accident whereby he sprained his ankle.
Sent John Green, master of the Thomas and Edward, to wait upon him;
hopes to get aboard in a day or two. [S.P. Dom., Car. II. 241, No. 39.]
He is back to work by June 11, so it wasn't a bad sprain.
