✹ Sally Gerrard on 5 Sep 2006 • Link The Crown was probably the largest inn in Rochester at this time and was used to hold the Court Baron of the Manor at Rochester. The Crown is still there, on the same site, although the present building looks as though it was built in the 1880's.
