The reference to “William’s boy” in the diary entry of 3rd August 1668 may reference another of William (junior) Joyce’s male off spring as I believe his son William’s (I.e. junior-junior) burial is recorded in the Parish Register of St. Sepulchre Church, Holborn on 10th March 1667/8.
This was the family church of the Joyce family and is also where both William (senior) and his son Anthony were buried.
