Over the last two years or so I have become a great fan of Samuel and the period covering the 17th century. I have acquired a number of books on all these subjects and the more I delve I see that living in these ever changing times makes our Brexit look like a WI committee meeting. There are many questions I would like to ask. The first one I will try is the accounts that are being checked by Samuel and his colleagues, Mr Creed's accounts proved difficult. Am I right in thinking that these accounts are expenses claims spent on behalf of the navy or do they claim payment for working for the Navy office.?
