Re: Aqua's quote.
A few Males of the species dothe attract attention as good source of future progeny, provided thy can give due protection for the results of the dallience. These rutting stags come from all levels of society.
'Tis Nature providing variation to the survival of the species.
A remarkably astute observation and sadly as with rape in the past definitely a way to diversify genes.

Egg yolk with butter warmed and stirred into a little vinegar/shallots is Hollandaise sauce, with a little tarragon Bernaise sauce, on Asparagus... heaven.

My father circa 1950 decided to paint the stairwell. A bucket of paint and a rag soaked in it was thrown at the wall..... Mother was at the bottom to receive the rag and return it to Dad. More paint on Mum than the wall...Couldnt resist.. Sorry.

Captn. Allen, and he and I withdrew and sang a song or two, and among others took pleasure in “Goe and bee hanged, that’s good-bye.”
Was this black /morbid/gallows humour. The chance of being on the "wrong side" was still present at this time with a chance of a death sentence, as will be shown in later history an issue for Sam.

I'm sure 17C dancing was very formal, so a small misstep...., but I have 2 left feet for the 1960's "twist" loving this as always and the amazing annotations. Thanks to those posting so long ago.

I assume the 200l was in the form of Treasury Note/s.... Printing money has it's problems even now.
