William Camden, Britannia: first published in Latin in 1586, several times reissued; translated by Philemon Holland in 1610. The only copy in the PL is Edmund Gibson's 1695 edition in English (PL 2807), which contains contributions by Pepys on the dockyards on the dockyards and arsenals of the Royal Navy: cf. Times Lit.
